2010 Try Out
Schedule
NoVa West Lacrosse now has three High School Level Teams.
All high school players wishing to participate with NoVa
West must register and attend one of the Open High School tryouts
where they will be assessed by an evaluation team which will
be made up of NoVa West coaches, Collegiate Players as well
as College Coaches. Based on the quality of
their tryout during the Open High School Try Out
players may be asked to attend the
invitation only tryout for the Flamingos.
NoVa West
Lacrosse will conduct open try-outs for all of it's teams in

All those wishing to tryout

Round 1 of the tryouts on May
2nd was tremendous with over
154 players impressing the
evaluation team. There will be some very difficult
decisions in selecting this squad but in the end we will
have a very competitive team that will surely have a
fantastic summer of lacrosse.
Players
must attend at least one tryout to be eligible for team selection. The 2009 team will be posted on the NoVa West Lacrosse web site at
9:00pm on
Sunday May 24th.
Evaluation Process
Each player will be evaluated as part of their position that they are
trying out for. The top players at each position will be
asked to attend the Flamingos tryout for consideration for that team.

Selection
Process
Making a summer select team should be an honor and we are
looking for players that will treat it as such. The
Crusaders Coaching staff will all rank out players in
various categories with a 1-5 ranking. The roster will
consist of 24 players (2 Goalies, 7 Defenders/LSM, 9
Middies, 5 attack and 1 specialist). The top rated players
in each category will make the team. We may also
select some alternates for the summer in case of injuries.
