Greg Zecca

Greg played collegiately at Ohio Wesleyan. Following a college career where his
teams reached 3 NCAA D3 Championship games, Zecca went onto Adelphi University
where is earned a master degree in Sports Management. During that time he
coached lacrosse at his Alma Mater Friends Academy and Huntingtown HS on Long
Island. In 1991 he became the Assistant Coach at Haverford College after just
one season he was elevated to Head Coach. After a 10 year run from 1992 to 2002
Zecca moved onto to become the Athletic Director at The Calverton School, and
soon after became the Co-Founder of SMS lacrosse. During his 20 years of
coaching Zecca has had many players go onto big things and has also earned
honors as USILA North-South Coach, and coach team Italy at the 2006 World
Championships
Greg has phenomenal connections with college coaches having coached at the
collegiate ranks and does a great job getting players in contact with the
programs they are interested in.
