In 2010
NoVa West will spin the Outbreak program into a bit
of a different direction. We are working with other
high profile clubs in Virginia that have not been invited to
he Brine Shootout but have elite players that are looking
for this level of exposure.
How do I make the squad?
In 2010 NoVa West Lacrosse promote between 8 to 12 players
to the Outbreak squad and will have an open tryout for the
rest of the spots on the team. Keep
in mind that the mission of this team is to put the best
possible talent on the field in the best recruiting
tournament with the best summer coaching in an effort to
get all the players on the team positive exposure with the
best lacrosse programs in the country.
We will have an open tryout Saturday June 26th & Sunday June
27th at Notre Dame Academy.
Wed June 30th 5:30pm - 8:00pm

Eligibility
The Outbreak squad will be made up of 26-28 players. If you are interested in an open tryouts
please contact us at
admin@NoVaWestLAX.com.
NoVa West
requires a minimum GPA of 2.7 from all the players
wishing to tryout for any of our High School level teams.
Why do we require this? Because NoVa West likes to consider
itself unique among summer select teams in that our mission
is to maintain a very high percentage of our players making
it to the next level. Most college coaches will not even
talk to players with GPAs lower than 2.5 so we feel by
putting this restriction on our players that we will be able
to work with them and get them placed into a quality
collegiate program. Remember at some point the ball will
stop bouncing and we all need to be able to fall back on our
education to further our lives.

These uniforms were voted the freshest summer gear during
the 2009 Brine Shootout.
This combined team will be coached by the most elite
coaching staff in the area for a summer program. The
staff has over 60 combined years of coaching experience not
to mention the experience this staff has with assisting
players with their recruiting needs.

Look for the coaches from Notre Dame and The Calverton
School to bring in some of
their former standouts to help with this elite team over the
summer.
David Spaulding The Calverton School 06'
MILL Player of the year 05' & 06'
Currently Playing at D1 Johns Hopkins
Devin Pinkston Notre Dame Academy 07'
